How is it made and what does it taste like?

The grapes are harvested in fertile Kakheti; after fermentation, the grape must is distilled using a traditional method into a pure wine distillate, which then ages for five years in oak barrels. This gives it its characteristic amber colour and a balanced flavour profile with notes of dried fruit, honey and a light touch of oak, rounded off with hints of vanilla and spice. The finish is warm, with notes of roasted nuts and dark chocolate.

How to serve?

• Serve at room temperature in a brandy glass.
• Pairs wonderfully with dark chocolate, nuts, dried fruit and soft cheeses.
