Marani MTSVANE KVEVRI – 6-bottle case of a delicately juicy amber wine
Mtsvane grapes are hand-picked in the second half of September once optimum ripeness is reached. After careful de-stemming, the grapes are placed without crushing into vats for fermentation, which takes about three weeks, followed by malolactic fermentation and three months of maceration on the skins in sealed vats.
- 100% Mtsvane made using the traditional qvevri method.
- 3 months of skin-contact maceration in sealed vessels.
- A delicately juicy texture with a honey finish.
Tasting profile
- Colour: light orange with golden highlights.
- Nose: intense, dried apricots, yellow peaches, and melon.
- Palate: smooth and rich, an elegant finish with hints of lemon custard and long silky tannins.
