Old Kakheti Alazani Valley Red Semi-Sweet Wine (0.75 l) is a delightful example of Georgian winemaking tradition, coming from the fertile Alazani Valley in Kakheti – the very heart of Georgia’s wine culture.
This cuvée combines Saperavi, Cabernet Sauvignon and Muscat Noir (with some sources also noting subtle Rkatsiteli tones), resulting in a wine of deep ruby color and expressive bouquet.
Tasting Profile
On the nose, it reveals intense aromas of cherries, raspberries and blackberries, complemented by gentle spicy notes and a hint of coffee or dark chocolate. The palate is smooth and well-rounded, offering a harmonious balance between its medium body, soft tannins and refreshing acidity. The pleasant sweetness (approx. 18 g/l residual sugar) is beautifully balanced, giving the wine both lightness and drinkability.
