Sarajishvili VSOP – 12-Year-Old Georgian Brandy Balancing Power and Smoothness

VSOP (Very Superior Old Pale) sits right in the middle of the Sarajishvili range – and for many connoisseurs it offers the best balance of maturity and freshness. It already has the depth that years in oak bring, yet stays lively and fruity. It is blended from proven distillates aged in smaller oak casks, where contact between spirit and wood is more intense, so the brandy gains colour, vanilla tones and soft tannins more quickly.

The result is harmonious yet expressive: sweet fruit first, then spice and oak, and finally a long, warming aftertaste. That is why VSOP wins over even those who usually prefer French cognac.

A tradition from the late 19th century

• Colour: radiant amber with a golden sheen
• Nose: prunes and dried fruit, vanilla, cinnamon, sweet spice
• Palate: smooth, bittersweet, with notes of figs, plums and pastry
• Finish: medium to long, with vanilla, spice and oak

How to serve

Sip slowly, warmed to room temperature, ideally from a brandy glass. Excellent with caramel or vanilla desserts, dried fruit and a premium cigar. Store in a ventilated room away from direct sunlight, at +5 to +25 °C.
