Danieli Winery Kisi semi-sweet – 3-bottle tasting set
Kisi is one of the rarest chapters of Georgian winemaking — an ancient variety that nearly vanished during the Soviet era. Danieli winery, run since 2013 by a Danish-Georgian couple in north-eastern Kakheti, is today reviving its tradition on the slopes near Argokhi village.
- Hand-harvested old vines on organically farmed slopes.
- Sweetness with no added sugar: Kisi naturally accumulates high sugar levels.
- Small-batch approach: a family winery focused on authenticity.
Tasting profile
- Colour: straw gold.
- Nose: apricot, white grapes, hawthorn blossom.
- Palate: gently sweet, balanced by acidity, with citrus peel on the finish.
Serving recommendations
- Serve on its own as an aperitif or with light desserts.
- Open all three bottles gradually, on different occasions.
- Discover more Georgian wines from small family estates.
