Marani Rkatsiteli-Chardonnay – 6-bottle case, a marriage of two traditions

Rkatsiteli-Chardonnay represents a fascinating “marriage” between ancient Georgian tradition and an international style. The grapes come from sun-drenched vineyards in the Alazani River valley in the Kakheti region, where a unique microclimate meets a rich history. So that the wine loses none of its primary fruitiness, the entire production follows a modern path: after hand-harvesting and gentle de-stemming comes fermentation and ageing in stainless steel tanks at a controlled 16–18°C. The result is a crystal-clear wine carrying the energy of the Georgian sun and the freshness of a mountain breeze.

• A blend of Rkatsiteli (70%) and Chardonnay (30%) from the Alazani Valley.
• Hand-harvested with gentle de-stemming.
• Fermented and aged in stainless steel tanks at 16–18°C.

• Colour: elegant, bright straw with greenish hues.
• Nose: green apple and peach typical of Rkatsiteli, flowing into tropical fruit and delicate florals from the Chardonnay.
• Palate: medium-bodied, balanced, very refreshing, a delicate fruity texture underscored by lively acidity, a long clean finish.

• Fish and seafood: pairs beautifully with grilled seafood or fish in a light citrus sauce.
• White meats: ideal with roast chicken, turkey breast, or veal escalopes.
• Starters: works wonderfully with fresh salads and soft cheeses like goat cheese or feta.

Grapes, acidity regulators (contains tartaric and/or malic acid), antioxidant (ascorbic acid), preservatives (sulphur dioxide). Bottled by the Telavi wine cellar under a protective atmosphere.
