Marani Rkatsiteli Chardonnay is a Georgian dry white wine that combines two iconic varieties – Rkatsiteli, a traditional Georgian variety, and Chardonnay, a symbol of elegance in world winemaking. This wine offers a fresh and clean flavour profile that will appeal to both classic and modern white wine lovers.
Tasting
- Colour: Straw yellow with a slight golden tinge.
- Aroma: Rich aroma combines notes of apples and pears with subtle buttery and biscuity nuances. A touch of chamomile and herbs add freshness and complexity.
- Taste: Clean, fresh and easy to drink. It is dominated by fruity and buttery notes with a hint of fresh pastry and light elderflower sweetness.
The grapes of both varieties are carefully hand-picked at optimum ripeness. After de-stemming, the berries are gently cooled to 4-6 °C and gently pressed in a pneumatic press under controlled pressure. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at 15-18 °C to preserve freshness and aromatic intensity. The two varieties are aged separately for 5 months before being carefully blended to create a harmonious wine.
Marani Rkatsiteli Chardonnay is a great choice as an aperitif or paired with fish and poultry. The delicate and fresh flavours of the wine accentuate light dishes and guarantee a perfect gastronomic experience.
Serving temperature: 10-12 °C.
We recommend storing at a temperature of 7-12 °C.
