The story of tarragon lemonade begins in 1887, when Georgian pharmacist Mitrofan Laghidze discovered that combining tarragon extract with sparkling water tasted surprisingly good. Georgians loved his lemonade — and they still do today. Kazbegi carries that tradition forward, and the tarragon variant remains one of the best-selling in the entire Georgian lemonade range.

Tarragon has a sweet, slightly bitter taste with an anise-liquorice note. In lemonade form this translates as a fresh, herbal drink with unexpected depth — it is not the sweetness of strawberries or pears. It is something entirely different. Refreshing, lightly herbal, with a gentle anise trail that lingers pleasantly. The bold emerald-green colour is the first thing that stops you — and the taste finishes what the colour started.
