Sarajishvili XO – created on the basis of classic recipes and composed of the oldest wine distillates – holds a significant place among the products carrying the name of David Sarajishvili. This brandy is a blend of more than 15 different distillates, the oldest of which are over 30 years old. The noble drink’s unique flavour is achieved thanks to special climatic conditions ideal for growing indigenous grape varieties, harvested in both the eastern and western regions of Georgia. The white grapes first undergo double distillation, after which the brandy ages in wooden barrels – in XO’s case, for whole decades. The history of its production dates back to 1884, when the enterprise developed rapidly and became a brandy monopoly within the territory of the then Russian Empire.
