• The Kindzmarauli appellation is a legally protected name – only wine from a precisely defined microzone in Kakheti may carry it
• Saperavi grapes stay on the vine longer than usual, giving them time to build up natural sugar before harvest
• Instead of being sweetened afterwards, fermentation is gently halted through cooling – a process that preserves part of the grape sugar without any artificial intervention
• Maturation is overseen by Kakhetian winemakers who combine generations of experience with the Khareba winery’s modern equipment
