Saperavi, whose name in Georgian means “dyeing,” is the backbone of Georgian red winemaking. This variety has rare dark pigment right in the flesh, giving it a deep garnet colour and intense structure. Askaneli processes Kakhetian grapes using traditional methods with emphasis on fullness and balance.
