Tkemali red
Red Tkemali is a traditional Georgian sauce that combines the sweet and sour notes of mirabelles with an aromatic blend of herbs and spices. Mirabelles are small, juicy plums with a mild sweet and sour flavour that is ideal for making this unique sauce.
Our Tkemali is made with fresh mirabelles, red peppers, garlic, coriander, fennel, ombala (a Georgian herb similar to mint), sugar and salt. This combination creates a unique flavour harmony that stands out in a variety of dishes.
Tkemali is perfect as a dip for grilled meat, sausages or baked potatoes. It can also be used as a flavouring for sauces, marinades or salad dressings. Its mild acidity and rich aroma add a new dimension to ordinary dishes such as rice, pasta or mixed vegetables.
Ingredients: mirabelles, paprika, garlic, coriander, ombalo, fennel, sugar, salt
Storage conditions: temperature from +1 to +25 °C.
