Set of 6 Bottles Biblioteka Semi-Sweet Pomegranate Wine – Velvety Fruit Wine from Armenia
The Manukyan winery named its Biblioteka range after the idea that wine tells a story – with every bottle another chapter. Six bottles make a small library of Armenian flavours to draw on for celebrations, dinners or gifts.
This family business from Kotayk Province combines ancestral traditions from the ancient village of Kosh with modern technology. Pomegranate wine comes naturally – the pomegranate belongs to Armenia as much as Mount Ararat does.
Wine profile
- Colour: dark ruby with a red-brown glint
- Nose: bright and refreshing, with pronounced pomegranate
- Palate: velvety and fruity, with gentle tannins, forest berries and chocolate
- Finish: naturally sweet, with a lightly tart, refreshing aftertaste
Best chilled at 8–10 °C. A fine match for desserts, fresh fruit, a cheese board and delicate meat – try it with churchkhela.
