Set of 3 Bottles Biblioteka Semi-Sweet Pomegranate Wine – an Armenian Pomegranate Classic
Biblioteka means “library” – a name the Manukyan winery chose deliberately. In a country where manuscripts were copied and guarded for centuries, wine too should be a chapter worth opening. Three bottles in the set let you revisit it with friends more than once.
The Manukyan family makes wine in Kotayk Province near Yerevan and honours its roots in the village of Kosh, more than seventeen centuries old. For Biblioteka it selects Armenian pomegranate varieties – a fruit that stands for abundance and good fortune in Armenia.
On the palate
- Appearance: deep red-brown
- Nose: fresh pomegranate with a light tang
- Taste: silky, juicy, with forest berries and chocolate and soft tannins
- Finish: sweet, long and fruity, closing with fresh acidity
Serve well chilled (8–10 °C) with sweets, fruit, light desserts or cheese. More specialities await in our Armenia category.
