Danieli Winery, founded in 2013 by Olaf Malver and Eka Tchvritidze, is based in the village of Argokhi in the north-eastern part of the Kakheti wine region and farms its vineyards organically above the Alazani River. Its production blends ancient Georgian traditions with a modern European approach. The specific microclimate and alluvial/sandy soils at 600–700 metres create ideal conditions for Saperavi with pronounced acidity and a rich aromatic profile — the grapes are hand-harvested and fermented at controlled temperatures in stainless steel tanks.
