Danieli Winery Mountain Saperavi – Intense red wine with mountain character
Danieli Winery, a family winery founded in 2013 by Olaf Malver and Eka Tchvritidze, is located in the village of Argokhi in the northeastern part of the Kachetia wine region. The vineyards are farmed using organic methods and the production combines ancient Georgian traditions with a modern European approach.
Danieli Winery’s Mountain Saperavi has a bright red colour and intense fruity aromas with notes of cherry, blueberry and dark fruit. On the palate it is full and velvety, with balanced acidity and fine tannins. The long and harmonious finish makes for an unforgettable experience.
The grapes for Mountain Saperavi wine come from exceptional vineyards located 600-700 metres above sea level. The specific microclimate and alluvial/sandy soils in this area create ideal conditions for producing wines with a distinctive acidity and rich aromatic profile. Harvesting is done by hand and fermentation is carried out in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. After 4 months of cold stabilization, the wine is bottled with minimal filtration.
Serving temperature: 16-18 °C.
We recommend storing at a temperature of 15-18 °C.
