Georgian brandy Sarajishvili VS is an alcoholic drink that is rightfully considered a national treasure of Georgia.
A fresh, harmonious brandy with a lively character and a bright, amber color composed of distillates, for the production of which grapes from different regions of Georgia were used, with different ripening periods, among which the oldest are older than 10 years.
It tastes soft, concise and intensely structured: spicy vanilla, plus dried apricots and honeydew honey.
The finish is moderate, slightly spicy.
The company was founded in 1887 by David Sarajishvili. Its original name was Tbilisi Brandy Factory. Cognac is still produced there according to traditional French technology. The first batch of the drink participated in international exhibitions in various cities, where it won several gold medals and a prestigious title.
There is also a VS-Black version which is more sour and dry, less nuts and dried fruit, it is also much more complex than the original five star gold version.
