Kindzmarauli Trio – Marani, Old Kakheti and Khareba: One Appellation, Three Wineries
Kindzmarauli is a protected designation of origin covering a small micro-zone near the town of Kvareli in Kakheti. The rules are strict: the wine must be made from Saperavi grown there, and its sweetness must be natural, with no added sugar. Even so, each winery gives the wine its own character, depending on its vineyards, harvest timing and fermentation. This bundle lets you taste the differences side by side.

How to taste
Chill all three bottles to 12–14 °C and pour them into identical glasses. Compare the colour, the aroma (more cherry or more forest berries?), the sweetness and the length of the finish. Dark chocolate, nuts or churchkhela make good companions. Because Kindzmarauli is often imitated, learn how to distinguish a real Kindzmarauli from a fake.
