Saperavi has a rare feature among grape varieties: its flesh is red, not just its skin. That is why Georgians named it “the one that dyes”. It is one of the oldest cultivated varieties of all and the backbone of Georgian red wines. With a set of three you’ll have this Saperavi ready for several occasions – dinner, a barbecue or a gift.
The wine carries the Old Kakheti label of the KTW group (Kakhetian Traditional Winemaking), which builds on the age-old tradition of Georgian winemaking and adds modern technology. The grapes grow in Kakheti and the wine matures in oak casks – hence its roundness and spicy touch.
