Bedoba Saperavi
Bedoba Saperavi is a profound expression of Georgia’s winemaking soul. Sourced from the prestigious Kvareli micro-zone in Kakheti, this dry red wine is made from the Saperavi grape—a “teinturier” variety known for its deep color and immense aging potential.
The complexity of Bedoba comes from its unique aging process. The final cuvée is a masterful blend:
- 50% aged in stainless steel for freshness,
- 25% in large 5000L oak vats,
- 18% in 2nd and 3rd fill American oak barrels, and
- 7% in traditional clay Qvevri.
The wine is aged for 8 months on fine lees and a further 12 months in the bottle before release.
