This bundle takes you through the best of Georgian red wine – from dry Saperavi grown in Kakheti’s vineyards to semi-sweet Khvanchkara from the mountains of Racha. All four come from Old Kakheti, a brand of the KTW wine group, so you can see how one winemaking philosophy shows itself across different grapes and regions. Three of them (Mukuzani, Kindzmarauli, Khvanchkara) carry a protected designation of origin.

• Old Kakheti Mukuzani – dry, from the protected Mukuzani micro-zone, 6 months in oak, black pepper and dark chocolate
• Old Kakheti Kindzmarauli – naturally semi-sweet, velvety, with cherry aromas
• Old Kakheti Khvanchkara – naturally semi-sweet from Racha, strawberry and blackberry

How to run your tasting

Go from dry to semi-sweet: Saperavi first, then the fuller Mukuzani, followed by Kindzmarauli and finally Khvanchkara. Serve the dry wines at 16–18 °C and the semi-sweet ones lightly chilled at 12–14 °C. Pair the dry reds with grilled meat or cheese and the semi-sweet ones with desserts and churchkhela.
